Safeguarding at Knowle DGE

At Knowle DGE Academy, we take our moral and statutory duty to safeguard every pupil seriously. We aim to provide a safe, welcoming and respectful environment where children feel valued and listened to.

Staff remain vigilant to any signs of abuse, neglect, extremism or prejudice, and follow established procedures to ensure pupils receive the right support, protection and justice. We actively promote tolerance, respect and diversity throughout our community.

If you ever have concerns about a child’s health, welfare or safety, please speak to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).

If the DSL is unavailable, speak to any member of staff, who will ensure your concerns are acted upon in line with our safeguarding procedures.
